Flavorful pumpkin gratin with cream sauce under an appetizing cheese crust

cream (30%) 250 ml |

melted cheese "Yantar" 100 g |

Step 1
Prepare the sauce. Chop onion and garlic, fry in a mixture of butter and olive oil. Pour in the cream and milk, add the sage, melted cheese, salt and simmer, stirring until the cheese is dissolved.
Step 2
Cut the pumpkin into thin slices. Place a layer of pumpkin slices in the baking dish, pour the sauce over it and sprinkle with grated cheese. In the same order, place several more layers of pumpkin, sauce and cheese until you run out of ingredients. Sprinkle cheese over the surface.
Step 3
Cover the gratin with foil and bake at 160 degrees for 45 minutes.
Step 4
Then remove the foil, increase the temperature to 200 degrees and bake for another 20-30 minutes.
