Juicy bacon-wrapped chicken breast baked with root vegetables
| chicken breast (200 g each) 2 pieces |
| parsley root 150 g |
| celery root 150 g |
| carrot 150 g |
| garlic 5 cloves |
| bacon (sliced) 6 pieces |
| butter (melted) 30 g |
| olive oil 40 ml |
| TO TASTE: |
| salt |
| black pepper |
| thyme |
Step 1
Cut the root vegetables into medium sized pieces, place in a baking dish, add the chopped garlic, salt, black pepper, thyme, butter and mix. Bake at 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Step 2
Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil, season with salt and black pepper. Wrap in bacon slices, place on the root vegetables and bake at 200 degrees for another 20-25 minutes.
Step 3
