 
Egypt's traditional dish is a nutritious and hearty koshari.
| cooked jasmine rice 140 g | 
| cooked brown lentils 120 g | 
| spaghetti 80 g | 
| cooked chickpeas 120 g | 
| onions 100 g | 
| wheat flour 30 g | 
| vegetable oil 200 ml | 
| ground coriander 1/2 tsp. | 
| salt to taste | 
| SOUCE: | 
| pelati tomatoes 400 g | 
| olive oil 30 ml | 
| onions 40 g | 
| garlic 3 cloves | 
| TO TASTE: | 
| sugar | 
| salt | 
| black pepper | 
| red pepper | 
Step 1
Prepare the sauce. Fry the chopped garlic and onion in olive oil. Add the blenderized tomatoes, salt, black pepper, sugar and red pepper. Cover with a lid and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
Step 2
Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Season with oil.
Step 3
Dice the onion, mix with salt, coriander and flour, then fry in plenty of vegetable oil. Heat the rice and lentils.
Step 4
Serve the dish by layering the rice and lentils, spaghetti, tomato sauce, chickpeas and fried onions. Enjoy.
