Today we have a real quesadilla, but with a Hawaiian accent! Tortillas, which is the name of the tortillas for this dish, we cook them ourselves and according to all the rules with corn flour! The filling is ham, pineapple and cheese! Very tasty and, most importantly, fast!
cornmeal 1 cup |
wheat flour 1 cup |
vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. |
salt 1 tsp. |
water 1-1,5 cup |
INGREDIENTS: |
canned pineapple 150 g |
ham 150 g |
hard cheese 100 g |
Step 1
Mix the sifted flour, add the salt and, adding the water in batches, knead the tortilla dough. Add the vegetable oil and knead again. Shape into a ball and leave for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Divide into small balls and roll out into thin tortillas, dusting with flour.
Step 3
Fry on a dry frying pan for 40-45 seconds on each side.
Step 4
For the filling, dice the pineapple, ham and half of the grated cheese. Stir to mix all the ingredients together.
Step 5
Place the filling on the tortilla, add more grated cheese on top and fold in half and press down a little. Pan fry again on both sides so that the cheese melts and binds the flatbread to the filling.
