Step 1
Prepare the yeast dough using the basic recipe.
Step 2
Roll out the dough into thin flakes and place on a floured pizza stone or baking tray.
Step 3
Mash the canned tomatoes with a fork and add to the passata mixture.
Step 4
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Break the mozzarella into small pieces, grate the Parmesan.
Step 5
Pour olive oil into a skillet, let it heat up and add the garlic.
Step 6
When the garlic is slightly browned, place the tomato mixture in the skillet and season with dry herbs, black pepper and salt. Simmer the vegetables for 5 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.
Step 7
Spread the sauce on the pizza base, add the mozzarella slices, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and add the basil leaves.
