All this week we will be treating you to iconic Ukrainian capital dishes! And let's start with a local celebrity - "Kyiv Perepichka" on Bohdana Khmelnitskogo Street, which has been gathering meter-long queues near its window for decades (for the first time they started selling sausages in dough here back in 1981). Today we offer you to prepare this tasty symbol of Kyiv in your own way!

Ingredients


puff pastry 1 package
sausages 10 pcs
eggs (for greasing) 2 pcs.
sesame
flour
olive oil

Instructions


Step 1

Defrost the puff pastry. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into strips.

Step 2

Peel the sausages from their casings. Wrap each sausage with a strip of dough in a spiral.

Step 3

Grease a baking tray with olive oil and place the sausages on it.

Step 4

Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.

Step 5

Brush the sausages with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 10-12 minutes at 180C.
