Fish in yogurt sauce is always delicious. And trout fish kebabs marinated in yogurt with mint and turmeric and combined with zucchini are twice as delicious! And how not to support the fish day on Thursday!?
trout 1/2 kg |
zucchini (yellow and green) 2 pieces |
yogurt 300 ml |
mint a few sprigs |
olive oil |
turmeric 1 tbsp. |
black pepper |
salt |
Step 1
Wash the fish and cut it into manageable sized pieces for your skewers.
Step 2
Prepare the yogurt sauce: mix the yogurt, mint leaves, turmeric, black pepper and salt in a blender. Blend everything thoroughly. Reserve 1/3 of the sauce for serving.
Step 3
Pour the yogurt sauce over the fish and let it marinate for 1-2 hours.
Step 4
Remove the zucchini "ribbons" from the zucchini with an economizer and soak them for a few minutes in hot water (water temperature should be around 60 C). Also soak wooden kebab sticks in cold water - this way the sticks will not burn.
Step 5
Wrap the zucchini "ribbons" around each piece of fish.
Step 6
Thread the fish pieces onto the wooden sticks and bake in the oven at 180 C for 30-35 minutes.
Step 7
Serve baked trout pieces with yogurt sauce.
