Tender fish fillet in tomato sauce with fennel seeds and thyme

onions 100 g |
garlic 4 cloves |
white dry wine 100 ml |
pelati tomatoes 400 g |
water 100 ml |
olive oil 40 ml |
green basil 10 g |
fennel 1/2 tsp. |
thyme 1/2 tsp. |
salt, sugar, black pepper to taste |
Step 1
Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in the oil. Add the thyme, ground fennel and black pepper.
Step 2
Pour in the wine and evaporate the alcohol. Then add the pelati tomatoes, water, salt and sugar. Stir.
Step 3
Cut the fillets in half, put them in the sauce and cook under a lid at medium temperature for 8-10 minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle with chopped basil, pepper and serve. Enjoy!
