Step 1
Finely chop the green onions and place in a bowl.
Step 2
Boil and cool the potatoes and beets in advance. Peel and grate on a fine grater. Add to the green onions.
Step 3
Finely chop the herring fillets and add to the vegetables.
Step 4
Boil eggs in advance and cool in cold water. Grate the yolks or mash them with a fork. Add the yolks to the vegetables and herring and dress with mayonnaise. Season with black pepper and mix.
Step 5
Grate the egg whites and place in small bowls, spreading them on the bottom and inside walls. Carefully place the prepared salad in the bowls so that the whites remain on the outside.
