School lunch box — buns with cooked sausage and cheese.

Ingredients

wheat flour 200 g
warm milk 125 ml
dry yeast 3 g
doctor's sausage 12 slices
cheddar cheese 12 toasts
egg yolk 1 egg
vegetable oil 15 ml
poppy seeds 10 g
sugar 15 g
salt 1/2 tsp.

Instructions

Step 1

Mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Pour in the milk and vegetable oil and knead the dough. Cover with clingfilm and leave in a warm place for 45 minutes.

Step 2

Then, knead and roll out into a thin circle. Cut out circles from the dough with a diameter 1-2 cm larger than the diameter of the sausage.

Step 3

Form the buns as follows: place a slice of sausage and cheese on each dough circle, then the dough, sausage, cheese and dough again.

Step 4

Pinch the edges and make incisions, from center to edge - two on one side, three on the other and turn them outwards.

Step 5

Place on a parchment-lined baking tray, brush with egg yolk, sprinkle with poppy seeds and leave in a warm place for 20 minutes.

Step 6

Then bake for 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees.

Step 7

Fill the lunchboxes with buns, nuts, dried fruits and salad leaves. Bon appetit!
