School lunch box — buns with cooked sausage and cheese.
wheat flour 200 g |
warm milk 125 ml |
dry yeast 3 g |
doctor's sausage 12 slices |
cheddar cheese 12 toasts |
egg yolk 1 egg |
vegetable oil 15 ml |
poppy seeds 10 g |
sugar 15 g |
salt 1/2 tsp. |
Step 1
Mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Pour in the milk and vegetable oil and knead the dough. Cover with clingfilm and leave in a warm place for 45 minutes.
Step 2
Then, knead and roll out into a thin circle. Cut out circles from the dough with a diameter 1-2 cm larger than the diameter of the sausage.
Step 3
Form the buns as follows: place a slice of sausage and cheese on each dough circle, then the dough, sausage, cheese and dough again.
Step 4
Pinch the edges and make incisions, from center to edge - two on one side, three on the other and turn them outwards.
Step 5
Place on a parchment-lined baking tray, brush with egg yolk, sprinkle with poppy seeds and leave in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Then bake for 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees.
Step 7
Fill the lunchboxes with buns, nuts, dried fruits and salad leaves. Bon appetit!
