Chinese pork brisket

Juicy and savory Chinese-style pork brisket — for meat eaters

Ingredients


pork brisket 800 g
white dry wine 120 ml
water 0.5 liters
soy sauce 60 ml
garlic 3 cloves
grated ginger root 40 g
vegetable oil 30 ml
green onion 20 g
sugar 30 g
cardamom 2 stars
cinnamon 1 stick
TO TASTE:
salt
black pepper
red pepper

Instructions


Step 1

Cut brisket into large chunks, cook in salted water for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Melt the sugar in the oil and add the chopped garlic, onion and grated ginger. Fry for 3-4 minutes.

Step 3

Add the cinnamon, cardiac, red pepper and pork brisket. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes.

Step 4

Then pour in the wine, soy sauce and water, add salt and black pepper to taste, cover and simmer the brisket for 1.5-2 hours.

Step 5

If desired, serve the brisket with any garnish. Bon appetit!
