Odessa appetizer with tulka

Appetizer of Odessa-style tulka with potatoes and red onions

Ingredients


pink potatoes 6 pcs
red onion 3 pcs
sugar 1 tsp.
salt 1/2 tsp.
lemon juice 2 tbsp.
seal 300 g
sunflower oil (not refined) 30 ml
ground black pepper to taste

Instructions


Step 1

Pour cold water over the potatoes, salt and boil until tender.

Step 2

Chop the onion, add salt, sugar, lemon juice and sunflower oil. Thoroughly knead the onion with your hands to release the juice. Allow to marinate for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Clean the seal — remove the head, insides and backbone.

Step 4

Cut the boiled potatoes into thin slices and fry in vegetable oil until golden. Place on a napkin and blot.

Step 5

On the potato slices lay the pickled onions and seal fillets. Pour homemade sunflower oil on top and sprinkle with ground black pepper.
