Step 1
Combine butter, Italian herbs, dried garlic, and red pepper in a saucepan and heat through.
Step 2
Roll out the dough on a flour-dusted surface into a rectangular shape, 5 mm thick.
Step 3
Cut into even strips, as wide as the sausage and long enough to wrap the sausage one and a half to two times. Brush with oil and spices.
Step 4
Grease a 22 cm diameter mold with a removable rim with vegetable oil. Wrap each sausage in a strip of dough and place in the mold.
Step 5
Bake at 190 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Step 6
For the sauce, fry the chopped garlic and onion in olive oil. Add the chopped pelati tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes. Season with salt, sugar and spices. Serve the sauce with the pie. Enjoy!
