Nutritious, hearty, incredibly healthy and unusual lentil pate.
red lentils 100 g |
water 200 g |
carrots 100 g |
walnuts 60 g |
butter 25 g |
vegetable oil 15 g |
dry granulated garlic a pinch |
salt, pepper to taste |
Step 1
Soak the lentils in cold water until tender, about 10 minutes. Then let them cool slightly and put them into a blender bowl.
Step 2
Shred carrots, fry them in vegetable oil until cooked and add to the lentils. Season with salt, pepper, most of the ground walnuts, butter and garlic.
Step 3
Blend everything in a blender until smooth. Sprinkle the pâté with the remaining walnuts. Serve with croutons, if desired.
