Simple to prepare and difficult to pronounce, hearty Austrian pasta casserole Schinkenfleckernln
| Pasta (boiled to al dente) 250 g |
| sausages 250 g |
| ham 250 g |
| eggs 8 pcs |
| hard cheese 200 g |
| butter 80 g |
| onions 2 pcs |
| green onions 20 g |
| tomato paste 6 tbsp. |
| cumin pinch |
| breadcrumbs 2 tbsp. |
| ground black pepper to taste |
| salt to taste |
| sugar 1 tbsp. |
| vegetable oil 2 tbsp. |
Step 1
Fry the diced onion in vegetable oil. Then add tomato paste, sliced sausages and ham. Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes. Then allow to cool slightly.
Step 2
Beat the eggs with a whisk, add the pasta, half of the coarsely grated cheese and the contents of the pan. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, sugar and stir.
Step 3
Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the mixture in the mold, sprinkle with chopped green onions and the remaining cheese. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
