Flavorful, with faint hints of cinnamon and vanilla, caramel apple pie

Step 1
Melt the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt in a saucepan. Then add the cream, stir until smooth, cook for another minute and allow the caramel to cool.
Step 2
Dice the peeled apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and stir.
Step 3
Combine the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer to a thick foam. Sift the flour and baking powder into the egg mixture, add the salt and use a spatula to knead the mixture until smooth. Add half of the cooled caramel and mix again.
Step 4
Cover the tart pan with baking parchment, spread the apples evenly and pour the batter over them.
Step 5
Bake the pie for 1 hour and 40 minutes at 165°. Then allow it to cool.
Step 6
Serve the pie with caramel. Enjoy!
