Sour cream blancmange with cherries

Blancmange is a French dessert in the form of jelly, which is traditionally made from cow's or almond milk. But today we propose to prepare blancmange made of sour cream with preserved cherries!

Ingredients


25% sour cream 400 ml
frozen seedless cherries 200 g
vanilla sugar 1 packet
sugar 4-5 tbsp.
gelatin 20 g
FOR DECORATION:
chocolate
fresh mint

Instructions


Step 1

Pour the gelatin in cold water and leave for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Pour a small amount of water over the cherries, add 1-2 tbsp. of sugar and boil for 3-5 minutes.

Step 3

Whisk the sour cream with the sugar. Add vanilla sugar and introduce the gelatin dissolved in a water bath. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4

Place the cherries in the bottom of the glasses and pour the sour cream and sugar. Mix gently so that the cherries make beautiful streaks.

Step 5

Place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Step 6

Decorate the finished dessert with chocolate shavings and fresh mint leaves.
