A fiery, appetite-igniting pie — the famous tarte flambée.
BATTER: |
wheat flour 175 g |
olive oil 30 ml |
water (room temperature) 125 ml |
salt to taste |
FILLING: |
red onion 200 g |
bacon 120 g |
sour cream (fatty) 120 g |
TO TASTE: |
salt |
black pepper |
oregano |

Step 1
Add salt, half the oil and water to the sifted flour. Knead the dough. Wrap it in clingfilm and leave it for 40 minutes.
Step 2
Then brush with the remaining oil and roll out between two sheets of parchment. Place the dough on a baking tray, brush with sour cream and top with the onion rings and chopped bacon. Season with salt and spices.
Step 3
Bake the tarte flambée at 230 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Bon appetit!
