Juicy Greek pork gyros with spicy-refreshing zadziki sauce

| ZAJIKI SOUCE: |
| unflavored yogurt 200 g |
| cucumber 1 pc |
| vegetable oil 1 tbsp. |
| garlic 1 clove |
| salt, ground black pepper to taste |
Step 1
Prepare the marinade. Mix the zira, ground chili pepper, oregano, marjoram, coriander, thyme and vegetable oil in a bowl.
Step 2
Cover the meat with foil, baste well and brush both sides with the marinade. Then place in a bowl, cover with clingfilm and put in the fridge for 40 minutes.
Step 3
After this time, place the meat on the foil, salt, smear with melted cheese and roll up into a roll.

Place the bacon slices on the pork grid, put the roll on top and wrap it tightly in the grid. Then fry in a dry, hot frying pan until browned.

Transfer the roll to a mold and bake for 1 hour at 170 degrees.

Prepare the zadiki sauce. Cut the peeled cucumber into small cubes, salt, mix and drain in a sieve. Mix the chopped garlic with the yogurt, vegetable oil, black pepper and cucumber.

Serve the gyros with the zadziki sauce. Top with tortillas and fresh cucumber, if desired.
