Perfect for dinner, wild rice paella with squid
| squid 300 g |
| wild rice 1 cup |
| onion (large) 1 pc |
| bell pepper 1 pc |
| carrot 1 pc |
| tomato 1 pc |
| garlic 2 cloves |
| olive oil 4 tbsp. |
| peas (fresh or frozen) 100 g |
| green onion 25 g |
| water 3 cups |
| cloves 1 pc |
| paprika pinch |
| rosemary pinch |
| ground black pepper to taste |
| salt to taste |
| lemon (for serving) 1 piece |
Step 1
Finely dice the onion and thinly slice the garlic and saute in olive oil.
Step 2
Then add the diced bell peppers and diced carrots to the pan. Saute for a few minutes.
Step 3
Rinse the squid and pat dry with paper towels. Then cut them into rings and add them to the pan.
Step 4
Stir in the cloves, paprika, rosemary, mix and cook, stirring for another 2 minutes.
Step 5
Then add the rice to the skillet and pour in the water. Salt, pepper, stir, cover the pan with a lid and cook the paella at a minimum temperature for 35 minutes.
Step 6
After the time, add the chopped green onions, peas and diced tomato. Cover the pan with the lid and let the paella cook for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Serve the paella with a slice of lemon.
