Tender, moist Easter, with dried fruits and nuts, will be a decoration of any Easter table. It not only looks beautiful, but also tastes great! It is very easy and quick to make - not counting the waiting time, of course.

The main ingredient of this Easter is cottage cheese. We chose Hanusi cottage cheese from MLEKOVITA. It is a completely natural product, without preservatives, coloring and flavoring. Thanks to its 6.5% fat content, it is ideal for Easter, cheesecakes, cheesecakes and more. You can use it for other cakes or baked goods with cottage cheese. As well as light desserts, dumplings or pancakes.

Unlike most Easter recipes you'll find online, this one requires heating the egg and sugar mixture in a water bath. It takes a few minutes and attention, but the effect is worth it. Easter prepared this way will turn out very creamy and tender.

Ingredients

Mlekovita Hanusi cottage cheese 1 kg
butter 200 g
cream (30%) 250 ml
yolks 8 pcs
powdered sugar 250 g
raisins 100 g
candied orange peels 50 g
walnuts 50 g
dried figs 20 g
vanilla sugar
pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1

All ingredients should be at room temperature.

Step 2

Chop the nuts and figs into small pieces.

Step 3

In a bowl, beat the yolks with the sugar until fluffy. Add the cream and mix.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into a small saucepan, place it in a large saucepan filled with water by a third, and put it on the fire. Heat the mixture in a water bath, stirring constantly, until the mixture starts to thicken (it should not boil). Remove from the heat.

Step 5

Cut the butter into small cubes.

Step 6

Put the cottage cheese, butter and egg-sugar mixture in a large bowl. Pour in the sugar and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

Step 7

Add raisins and other dried fruit. Stir to combine.

Step 8

Cover colander with cheese cloth (you can also use a double layer of cheesecloth). Place in a large saucepan. Put in the cottage cheese mixture. Cover with the cloth, place a plate and load it with a heavy object (such as a filled jar).

Step 9

Place in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 10

The next day, carefully remove the Easter from the colander, remove the cloth, decorate with nuts and raisins.
