A very easy and quick to make Turkish lentil puree soup.
| red lentils 200 g |
| chicken broth 1 liter |
| onions 100 g |
| carrots 80 g |
| butter 60 g |
| lemon juice 60 m |
| vegetable oil 50 ml |
| ground paprika 1 tsp. |
| chili flakes 1/2 tsp. |
| TO TASTE: |
| dried mint |
| salt |
| sugar |
| ground black pepper |
| ground red pepper |
Step 1
Fry the chopped onion and coarsely grated carrots in a saucepan with butter.
Step 2
Add dried mint, salt, red pepper, lemon juice and rinsed lentils.
Step 3
Pour in the hot broth. Cook for 15 to 17 minutes.
Step 4
Afterwards, season to taste with salt and sugar.
Step 5
Blend the soup with a blender until smooth, pour into plates, season with a mixture of vegetable oil, chili flakes and paprika. Enjoy.
