Varenyky with blood sausage and celery
BATTER: |
wheat flour 300 g |
milk 125 ml |
egg 1 pc |
egg yolk 1 pc |
melted butter 50 g |
salt a pinch |
FILLING: |
blood meal 450 g |
celery stalk 150 g |
salt to taste |
pepper mixture to taste |
Step 1
Combine the sifted flour with the rest of the dough ingredients. Knead the dough, wrap it in clingfilm and leave it for 1 hour.
Step 2
For the filling, mash the peeled blood meal with a fork. Combine it with the chopped celery. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5-2 mm. Cut out circles with a glass, put the filling in the center of each one and seal the edges.
Step 4
Immerse the dumplings in boiling salted water and cook after they float for 4-5 minutes. Bon appetit!
