Scones with cheese and chicken breast

School lunch box — scones with baked chicken breast and cheese.

Ingredients


wheat flour 225 g
kefir 250 ml
chilled butter (82%) 85 g
grated mozzarella cheese 150 g
baked chicken breast 90 g
egg yolk 1 egg
cornstarch 1,5 tsp.
leavening agent 1/2 tsp.
baking soda 1/4 tsp.
TO TASTE:
salt
oregano
dried basil

Instructions


Step 1

Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cornstarch and baking powder. Add the grated butter, shredded meat, cheese, dried basil and oregano. Stir to combine. Pour in the kefir and mix gently again.

Step 2

Using two spoons, spread the mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment. Brush the scones with egg yolk and bake at 220 degrees for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Fill the lunchboxes with the skonas, berries, vegetables and nuts. Enjoy.
