Ingredients


apples 500 g
sugar 200 g
water 750 ml
lemon 1 pc
orange peel
red champagne 100-150 ml
thyme

Instructions


Step 1

Boil the syrup by adding sugar and orange zest to the water.

Step 2

Peel the apples and cut into slices. Boil in the syrup for 5 minutes, adding a little thyme.

Step 3

Place in a blender with a little of the syrup. Blend into a smooth paste.

Step 4

Pour the applesauce into a flat glass dish. Add the lemon juice and champagne.

Step 5

Place in the freezer and freeze for 4-5 hours, stirring the granita every 30 minutes with a fork.

Step 6

Serve by placing in martini glasses and garnishing with thyme sprigs.
