Ingredients


carrots 300 g
flour 300 g
vegetable oil 300 ml
sugar 225 g
honey 175 g
eggs 4 pcs
butter
ginger 1 stub
walnuts (chopped)
coconut shavings
leavening agent 1 tsp.
cinnamon
cloves (ground or crushed in a mortar)
powdered sugar

Instructions


Step 1

Peel the carrots and ginger, grate them finely.

Step 2

Mix the vegetable oil, honey and eggs. Add the carrots and ginger to the mixture and knead well again.

Step 3

Mix the flour with the sugar, coconut, baking powder, baking powder, nuts and spices.

Step 4

Combine the "dry" and "wet" mixtures, mixing thoroughly.

Step 5

Grease the mold with butter. Bake the cake for 1 hour at 160 C.

Step 6

Before serving, sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar.
