Hearty pie with BBQ chicken and Ranch sauce.

They say hunger is the best seasoning for food. Of course, it's hard to argue with that, but if you look at the essence - I think the sauce is the best complement to any dish! - believes Andrei Domansky.

Ingredients


puff pastry 600 g
wheat flour 30 g
boiled chicken fillet 400 g
smoked chicken fillet 150 g
grated hard cheese 200 g
red onion 100 g
green onion 20 g
BBQ sauce 250 g
TO TASTE:
fresh chili pepper
salt
black pepper
chicken seasoning
RANCH SAUCE:
kefir 125 ml
mayonnaise 125 g
spicy mustard 20 g
garlic 1 clove
parsley 10 g
dill 10 g
green onion 10 g
salt, black pepper to taste

Instructions


Step 1

For the filling, tear the whole chicken fillets into fibers. Add chopped red and green onions, chili peppers, salt, spices and BBQ sauce. Stir to combine.

Step 2

Dust the table with flour, roll out the dough into a large circle, transfer it to a parchment-lined baking tray. Place an 18 cm diameter plate in the middle of the dough. Place half the cheese around the edge of the dough, then the filling and the remaining cheese.

Step 3

Remove the plate, cut the middle of the pastry into 16 triangles, turn them away from the center and wrap them around the edge with the filling. Bake the pie at 190 degrees for 25 minutes.

Step 4

For the sauce, combine the chopped garlic and herbs with the rest of the ingredients. Stir to combine. Serve the pie with the sauce. Bon appetit!
