Hearty Balkan lamb sausages - Cevapcici with pita.

Ingredients


lamb flesh 0.5 kg
garlic 2 cloves
onion 60 g
red onion 40 g
tomatoes 100 g
pita 4 pcs
vegetable oil 20 ml
parsley 20 g
TO TASTE:
paprika
dried garlic and onion
red pepper
salt
black pepper
SOUCE:
Greek yogurt 120 g
parsley 10 g
cilantro 10 g
mint 10 g
lemon juice 25 ml
salt, sugar to taste

Instructions


Step 1

Cut the meat into large pieces, add chopped onions, garlic, parsley, salt and spices.

Step 2

Knead everything well with your hands, then grind it twice in a meat grinder. Beat the minced meat for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Form into 8 sausages and fry in oil until cooked through.

Step 4

For the sauce, chop the herbs and mix with the rest of the ingredients. Slice the red onion and tomato into half rings.

Step 5

Brown the pitas on a dry pan, cut them on the edges, grease the inside with sauce, put in them cevapcici, tomato and onion. Bon appetit!
