Tender potato cream soup with crispy bacon and green onions
| potatoes 0.5 kg |
| wheat flour 15 g |
| chicken broth 1 liter |
| onions 100 g |
| garlic 4 cloves |
| cream (20%) 200 ml |
| bacon 100 g |
| butter 30 g |
| TO TASTE: |
| salt |
| black pepper |
| thyme |
Step 1
Fry the chopped bacon in butter and transfer to a paper towel.
Step 2
Fry the chopped garlic and onion in the same oil.
Step 3
Add the flour and diced potatoes, fry briefly, then pour in the stock and cream, season to taste with thyme and salt.
Step 4
Bring the soup to the boil, cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
Step 5
Then blend with a blender until smooth.
Step 6
Serve with fried bacon. Enjoy.
